    What is it for and how much are you looking to spend. FI also wants Ashes and I like La Pasteria.  If it doesnt have to be in Red Bank and this is a special occassion how about Salt Creek in Rumson or The Raven and the Peach in Fair Haven?

    Ashes has now changed owners, and now it is mostly seafood.  The food used to be great, and now it is just blah. My favorites are The Bistro, Teak, and Front Street Trattoria for their 5 cheese pizza! Buona Sera is good Italian (a little pricey) but make sure you don't sit on the 1st floor- they start turning it into a cougar club on Sat nights, even if you are still eating! Had a horrible experience there.

    My extended fam is from Red Bank, and for special occasions we have events at the Molly Pitcher - so nice!
