Is there a certain feeling you are going for?  Bear mountain is super cute if you are looking for outdoorsy pictures.  And they have a cute carousel in the middle.  you could also try Skylands in Ringwood.  Or some cute surrounding towns like Warwick, Ny or Ridgewood or Morristown.

Its outdoorsy.  They are these little shelters made of rocks.  They look like picnic shelters but instead of wood they are rocks.  Its def rustic so if you arent looking for outdoors pictures I would say dont do it.  There is a giant flat area by the inn that you could have nice pictures in the grass and I think there is a cute lake.  Check this website out.  It might give you some ideas.  http://www.visitbearmountain.com/

I dont know when your epics are but if you want to take a trip up there and not waste a long drive they have Octoberfest starting this weekend.  Its crazy busy there but its a really fun time if you get a group together to go.  They have german food, beer and bands.  http://www.nymetroparents.com/neweventinfo.cfm?id=37720I am in no way connected to bear mountain.  I sound a little like i am pushing it.  I just live super close.  Also i maybe would stay away during octoberfest because it does get kind of busy and you may not get the privacy you would like for the pics.  When i took mine I was really unconfortable in front of too many people.

There is also a lookout point up there.  Perkins Memorial Tower if I remember correctly...   Bear Mountain has a lot of areas to it - def more of a outdoor/park environment, but it's very pretty.:)
