Invitations

Where can I purchase inexpensive wedding invitations? I would rather not print them myself....but I might have to for budget reasons. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks

I ordered mine from Kelly from Uncommon Affair. She was great to work with and helped to keep them in our budget. I love my invites, she did a great job on them.www.uncommonaffair.com

I am DIY - but agreed with pp. Party city has a lot of stuff and it's pretty decently priced compared to some others.

I got mine from Mar-Lisa Specialties in Totowa.  She has many books of invitations and discounts 20% of published prices.  Her prices range from low to very high so if you go there tell her your budget and she will work with you.

I got mine from WeddingPaperDivas.com. 125 invites and reply cards, with envelopes for both, for about $290. There's always free shipping (FREESHIP) and if you sign up for their e-mailing list they frequently run promotions. I also looked into a few sellers on Etsy.com. A lot of people have also bought those kits from Target and printed them at home, and then added ribbon or jewels to spice them up a bit. I considered that but didn't want to print them myself because I'm impatient :P

    I'm using Designs by MK

What is your budget per invitation set though? bare minimum, that would include -Invitation/envelope -Response card/envelope -Postage for invitation and response card That's how I figured out my price per set....and I didn't want to go above that number. If you are looking at $4.00-8.00 per finished set, someone like Designs by MK is a good vendor As far as stationery book shops, invitations by Carlson Craft will be one of the only "budget-conscious" companies. However, I would ask the shop who else is comparable to Carlson in price. I know that Hearts fo You in Manalapan (bridal shop) carries Carlson Craft...and she discounts 30% I can also recommend TheAmericanWedding.com. Join their mailing list...they give coupons! I found MyGatsby.com and Minted.com to be expensive. but that's just IMO.

I actually just got an e-mail from Wedding Paper Divas ... FALLEMAIL will get you $10 off $75+ orders; $15 off $99+ orders; and $25 off $149+ orders. You can order samples for $1 and get the free shipping with FREESHIP. I ordered two ... one was not so great, but we liked the other so we went with that one.

We got ours from www.Rexcraft.com. They will send you free samples.  I think all in, we spent about $425.  And they look AWESOME!
