I never paid attention to the posts about tipping. I am going for my makeup trail tomorrow, do I tip?

I would. I used to waitress. We all went above and beyond for our known tippers.

I did not. But the woman who did my hair is the owner of the salon.  It was $85 and I was there for 20 minutes.  I will however tip her day of, even though she's the owner.

My trial is next Friday and I will tip her.  I am using the person who does my hair on a regular basis so I am treating this as a normal appointment.

I did not tip because she owned her own business.

I did not tip my hair stylist or makeup artist at my trials because she owns the business. I intend to tip her the day of, though.

I gave a tip... nothing big... She is the owner and I went to her house for it.  The trial was $45 so I just gave her $50.
