If you could do me a favor, this would be awesome

As far as your vendors go, could you :

1. Post a list of your recommended vendors that arent on TK's vendor page http://wedding.theknot.com/local-wedding-vendors/north-carolina-weddings.aspx. With this, please include their links.

- Out of those recommended, please include which ones you REALLY love/loved

Lastly,

If there is a vendor whose already on TK http://wedding.theknot.com/local-wedding-vendors/north-carolina-weddings.aspx . . please post their link as well in the same list.

I'm not sure these vendors are listed but these are ones I love

- Alterations - we are using Olga (not sure her last name) in the Triangle area. Most of my friends have used her and she's so great at what she does. She books up fast though!

- Florist - Bells and Whistles (Kitty Hawk NC) - they are fantastic! Really creative and beautiful floral arrangements and really easy to work with. You can tell they love what they do! http://www.bellsandwhistlesobx.com/flash_site/

- Photographer - Bridget did such an AMAZING job with my friend's wedding so we are excited and hopeful she'll be able to do ours. She's up for travel (we're most likely getting married in the Outerbanks) and her rates are some of the best I've seen (and I've talked to ALOT of photographers since we started searching) so she gets booked up fast. http://bridgetmcenaney.com and http://bridgetmcenaney.wordpress.com .

I'd love to hear suggestions about DJs and caterers - we're stumped on that!

I don't know what Beka has in mind for this, but I'm planning to steal whatever y'all post here and add to the Google Doc spreadsheet that can be found here (clicky). So consider yourselves warned

The two I really really love:

- Photographer: Erica of EL Photography www.ericaletchworth.com. By far our favorite vendor. She's amazing, her work is amazing.

- Florist: John of Herron House Flowers (clicky). Stunning work, incredibly creative.

The other ones:

- Reception Caterer: Visions (clicky), High Point (they also did our linens, etc)
- Alterations: Olga
- Dress: Brides Against Breast Cancer
- Hair: Kim at Studio Hair Design, Archdale
- Invitations: Etsy Seller nmiphotocreations (clicky)
- Favors: Etsy Seller 2birdsinlove (clicky)
- Ceremony Venue: Memorial UMC (clicky),Thomasville
- Reception Venue: 12 West Main (clicky), Thomasville
- Baker (the only vendor I wouldn't recommend) - Edible Artistry, High Point
- Rehearsal Dinner Venue: Briles House (clicky), High Point
- Rehearsal DInner Caterer: Rosa Mae's Cafe & Catering (clicky) High Point

I don't know what I'm forgetting.

I've changed the links in the first post. It's now targeted for NC's vendors (I had a Duuh moment).

Do you (or Annie) want recommendations from only married Knotties? I mean, presumably, we pick our vendors because they are our top choice, but I don't have any reviews yet. I will in 48 days though!!

Also, I know All the Right Groves in a board favorite, but they are not on TK's list. When I was first vendor shopping I came on this bpard and asked about them before I signed the contract. I was pretty much told to run, don't walk, and sign the contract and that I wouldn't be disappointed. I just thought NOT having them on TK's list was not very representive of how most NC brides feel.
