The next thing I'm trying to get done is booking a photographer.  We've already met with Figtree and Shelley&Keith and I was hoping that you girls (and guys) would be able to provide me some suggestions of a couple others to look into.  We loved the family team aspect of both photographers we met with, especially since we're really looking for more than one photographer.  We're trying to stay around $3000, but don't necessarily need albums (at least not right away).Thanks in advance for your help!Laura

We're using Louis Schroder. He's a photojournalistic photographer and I think we're getting a great package for under 3K.

For $2800, you get all that plus two parent albums, and 100 thank you cards. We didn't meet with them in person so this is more of an FYI than a "recommendation." We're paying $2000 for 9 hours of coverage, a high res edited DVD w the rights to reprints, 3 month online allery, and gallery announcements Sonia at Saffron Studio... she was a blast to work with, and does have an assistant, but you might have to specify 2nd photographer. www.saffronstudio.com. Marc Anthony Photography. He's based in South Jersey but I know he travels. I saw a wedding on his blog that he shot at The Aberdeen. His work is remarkable and starts at $2350 for all day coverage and two photographers, one being him. Oh and don't ask about my username. I used Figtree but if you want other recs I likedCLB in Hazlet and Erika Lynn was super nice.John Arcara is great but a little pricey.

I used John Arcara and he was (is) great.  You can also try Josh Lynn his work is very good also.
