To tan or not to tan?

So I still have some tan lines from the summer and my wedding is in a week and a half. I have never fake baked before. Should I do it? What kind of tanning and does anyone have any recs near Franklin Park?

How about spray tan? My friend does it and swears by it because it doesn't damage your skin in any way...and there is no orange tone....I tanned before my FSIL's wedding and was so burnt and in pain for that wedding (thank goodness for alcohol because it eased the pain for the night).

"doesn't damage your skin in any way"....I wouldn't say that too quickly. The chemicals can't be that good for you.

I have never fake backed before, but I am going to before the wedding because I also have an annoying tan line left that I really want to get rid of.I have never spray tanned before, but I would say since it is so close to the wedding, NOT to do that if you never had before in case you hate the way it makes you look.

I would be nervous about trying either one so close to the wedding. But I'm also planning on being tan free for my wedding.

I say tan, but be wise. Only go in for a few minutes to decrease the risk of a burn. ie: Do 8 minutes in a 20 min, etc.

Tan, you can also put on some SPF to minimize burn.

def spf esp on your face (I assume that isn't where your tan lines are);)

your wedding is in a week and you have tan lines? I would be tanning right now if that were the case.

I got an airbrush tan, and though it looked great, a week later my legs were so blotchy I looked like I had lepracy.  Prob from shaving my legs, but I  wouldn't want to look like that on my honeymoon!  Just do the real tanning, in short intervals. It's not like you're going to go all the time.

I wouldn't do it. Your wedding is too soon and you don't know your limits. You could wind up burnt. Are you getting airbrush makeup? You could ask your makeup artist to blend your lines.

I am getting airbrush makeup with Cristina. That was one of my other thoughts to see if she could just blend it. The lines are subtle but they're there.

I also used Cristina and she covered up a birth mark and zit for me on my back.   She sprayed my MOH's chest because she had a rash.  I would e-mail and ask her.

You have tons of options... if you only have very slightly noticeable lines and you don't want to goto a tanning salon try a spray tan or the tanning lotions to try and even it out.  Or you can try tanning a couple times but look to even out the lines with a tanning accelerator.
