S/O Inner envelopes

If you did have them, did you address them Mr. and Mrs. XX or first names?I have a belly band instead of inner envelopes that will have guests names on it, so I'm trying to decide how to address them. (The invites will be mailed in a box, so no need for an inner envelope really.)

We varied, depending on how formal we were with people.  Generally, younger people and close friends got "Jane and John" while great aunts and uncles and the like got "Mr. & Mrs."
