Good evening, 
We are just getting started in our planning process. We are located in Charlotte, but are looking for an ocean side type wedding we think. Can anyone share experiences, thoughts, or comments about Bald Head Island?

    I haven't been there but I heard it is awesome.  My photog has shot a lot of weddings there.  His website is www.chrislangweddings.com

    Congrats an welcome! I just got married on the beach at Topsail Island this past weekend.  I highly recommend it, especially if you are looking to spend a little less money.  

    We looked at Bald Head Island when we started planning, but it is very expensive.  All the companies work in coordination with each other.  So there is a certain price you must be prepared to pay. For example, the info they mailed us had just food packages starting at $8,000.  That is what I spent on my entire wedding!  If money is not an issue, then Bald Head Island is beautiful!
