Easiest BM Shopping Ever

So Sat. I met with my 3 bridesmaids to pick out their dresses and order it. The appointment was for 1:30pm but with traffic, we all ran late. By 1:45pm, I was picking dress off the rack (if they liked them) and by 3pm we were leaving the store. They got measured and left a deposit. I was thinking blue or pink but never thought I would end up with red. Now I'm not sure if I should incorporate red into the invitation as well?This is the dress, the one on the right:

The maker is Alexia. I went to Memories Bridal in North Bergen. Two previous knotties havent had a good experience with the store but I havent yet and I hope that doesnt change, lol. http://www.alexiadesigns.com/main/?gclid=CMia5KiYup0CFVlM5QodMDk1jAThe color is called claret. It's a beautiful rich red, not burgundy. It looks better in real life that in the picture.

My bridesmaids wore Alexia dresses too. Claret was one of my choices - we settled on Fresh Blue (a little lighter than navy blue, darker than royal) - since we were getting married right after Christmas.

The reason why I didnt want red is becuase I'm getting married on April 23 and red is not a spring color but my bms fell in love with the dress right away; the sample was in red. After we looked at the color swatches for that satin material, they still liked red. I figured they are paying for it so I might as well let them pick it.

I think it looks great in red. You don't have to have a certain color for the time of year you're getting married. If you and the BM's like the red-then that's all that matters.

i wore a red bm dress and they looked great in the pictures~ really made the bride pop.

ITA with that Erika, we wore red in my cousin's wedding which was in September (several years ago though) and her dress was like wowza white in pictures. We had burgundy & white flowers too, it looked awesome.
