Passport Changes - married ladies

I don't know if anyone has seen the news lately - but the price of passports are going up about $35+.  It puts the fee up to $110 for a passport. It's supposed to take affect in April, I can't figure out if it's April 1st or just sometime in April.  Those of you who haven't updated your passports (me included) might want to get everything submitted.

I need to do this too.... but if you have had your passport less than a year, they will change it for free.

booo i havent done this because it was already expensive. Guess i gotta get on it!

Doh!! I hope it's not April 1... not only did my passport expire last year but it's also got my old name on it. :-/

That woud really suck!  Our travel agent (Jennifer) mentioned this but thought it wouldn't take effect until June so I wasn't in any hurry!  Since it hasn't been released, I doubt it will take effect April 1 (tomorrow) but I will certainly be sending in my renewal app ASAP!

I've been thinking about this lately and I was told you had up to a year to change your name for free.  I need to do this soon!!!
