Registry Online

So my mom suggested to me last night that I should maybe start a small registry at Macys (we are also doing BBB) so that is people want to buy christmas presents they might look for a regisrty or they might want to hit the day after christmas sales. We hadn't planned on actually doing this till January when the shelves are restocked from the holidays, so do you know if there is an option to start a registry online, or do i have to schlep all the way to the mall to do this?

There's a "create a registry" option on their registry, so I imagine you don't need to go to the mall.

No you do not have to set foot in the store to do any registry. I signed up for our BBB registry online just putting in all the info before going to the store. My mom also suggested a Macys registry because Macys had my china with special discounts that made it cheaper then BBB and I decided to start that one online also. To this day I have a full registry with them and have not set foot in the store to work on it.

i just started to work on our two registries... so far i have done everything on online. it is just easier for me. plus i like to put things on the registry that people can definitely buy online so they can shop online instead of having to go to a crowded store and search for one specific item among hundreds.when i was pregnant i did the same thing for the baby registry. i never went to the store.

Thank you very much ladies.  I actually came back just to let everyone know that I found the link to create a regisrty online, and that i must have been blind last night when I was on their website.  Thank you again!

I registered for pretty much everything online. I did go to the store to look for china and other items.

Which vaccuum was everybody raving about? Was it the Bissel Pet Eraser? or a Dyson? Hmm, i wish i had written that down last time we talked about it.

i started and completed all my registries online.  the sales people just like to start one in the store so they get credit for it.  you don't need them.

You can always start it online for stuff now with vases, picture frames, etc. and you can add everything else after the restocking in January. I would recommend seeing china, towels and bedding in person to see the quality.
