CVL105

Hello,I am currently having the SAME problem with regards to hotels.  Our room block ended Oct 14 and I sent at least 2 reminders to people and I KNOW not everyone who NEEDS a room has booked, included the best man who is coming from Boston.  So no clue what his plans are...hopefully not sleeping on the floor of my room!People have been telling me repeatedly "they are grown ups, it is their own issue" but it is hard because I don't know what they are going to do?  Drive back to Boston at 1am drunk??  UGH.  I am trying to let it alone though.  Just keep telling yourself "they are grown ups, they are grown ups"Plus I don't want to seem too pushy like I am FORCING them to get a room, because in the end, it is really their own choice.GOOD LUCK!

I'm more so concerned about people booking a room last minute and there not being enough room on the shuttle for everyone and then someone who booked on time getting the shaft and not being able to take the shuttle or something.

That's true...but I would know if these friends had friends/family near by.  And I'm sure she would know if the best man did too.

Maybe they are staying with someone who already booked a room which you wouldn't know by looking at the sheet.  I had a couple of friends do that.

there's definitely some who have done that....some we're thinking who have done that and are confirming...and then theirs some that we know definitely aren't.... Like his half brother and his gf.  I'm basing whether they're truly coming to the wedding on whether they book a room or not. If they don't, I know they're not coming.  He hardly knows the guy, let alone me, and were surprised they RSVPd yes. I have doubts in my mind whether they'll really show up or not.

I assume a bunch are doing that...although I've asked the people who have booked rooms "Just wondering, is so and so staying with you?"and they all have said no...but I have a sneaking suspicion (if I know my college friends at all) that they have every intention of 'crashing' in someone's room and just don't want to tell them before-hand.  Way to impose on people guys...way to go.glass half empty over here!!  ;)
