So this might be a stupid question, but how much of a deposit did you have to put down to reserve your DJ? What about for your photographer? I'm clueless on this and just want a general idea of how much we should put aside right now for deposits. TIA!

We paid I think $200 deposit for DJ and 1/2 payment to the photographer.

I think it depends on each vendor. For my DJ we put $500 down and paid the rest the week of the wedding. For both our photgrapher and videographer, we put 1/3 down, paid another 1/3 the week of the wedding, and paid the last 1/3 when we got the final product after the wedding

I agree with PP. It definitely depends on the vendor. We put $1,000 for the DJ and we will pay the rest the day of. The photographer, I couldn't tell you because it is a family friend and we didn't put anything down.

We don't have a DJ but we put 50% down on our photographer.

Our DJ was $250 down and photo was 1/4

It definitely depends on the vendor.  Some of my vendors just had a flat amount and others had a percentage.  I'm pretty sure my DJ was 1/3.
