one more question...if it's my Aunt, Uncle, and two cousins, all sitting at the same table...Do I do one placecard "Mr and Mrs. John Smith and Family" or give the kids each their own. They're 16 and 20.

shoot, and another one.... if there's a couple...put the man's name first or woman's name first? Or does it not matter?

I'd give the kids their own, definitely old enough for it.  And why does that package have to confuse you, mean package?  Doesn't it know you are stressed enough ;-).

We did who we were friends with.  If we were friends with both we put Mrs. Jane Sweets and Mr. John Dandy.

I'm doing them the same way as I did it for the outer envelope because it's just easier and already set up in excel. So for me it would be..Mr. and Mrs. John Smith (for married couples)Mr. and Mrs. John SmithEmily (for married couples with kids if they're at the same table. If not then the kid will get their own.)Ms Jane Smith and Mr. John Doe (I always just put the girl first no matter who we were inviting)
