Has anyone ever used Lamar Wedding Center for anything?  They offer photography, videography, flowers, etc.  Reviews please!! Thanks!

Those types of services typically get horrible reviews.  Particularly for photography because photography is an artistic field, but with Lamar you don't get to pick your photographer and you get someone who may or may not care how good a job they do.

I know 3 people who have used them for pictures. None of their pictures were stunning. They take the basic sstandard posed wedding shots, very few candids. And nothing artistic. One of those people also used them for flowers and she was happy with them. I did not go to the wedding so I can't comment on them personally. A fourth person I know used them for limo only. They got a regular limo for bridal party and the excalibur for themselves. The day of the wedding a limo and a jaguar showed up and they were told the excalibur was having mechanical trouble. I woukdnt use them.

My experience with Lamar Wedding Center has been truly horrific.
This is the e-mail I wrote to them, and still have not gotten a response. However, Dana, has contacted my husband instead of contacting me to say that they will not be responding to any of my e-mails. Clearly she has no customer service skills and does not want to deal with me directly because she knows I am making valid points.

“I am very disappointed with the services provided. I do not feel that the miniscule refund provided to us makes up for all of the memories of our wedding day that we lost. He didn’t stay til the end like he was supposed to which to us, was the most important part, that’s why we PAID FOR THE OVERTIME. The album was nothing to brag about either. I had visions of getting my albums and everyone ranting and raving about them but instead I get “eh’s” or asked who I used, and then they start talking about someone else to use. You have no idea what it feels like to have to go through this, this isn’t even something I would ever want to show my kids. Where are the pictures of me and my godfather, me and my godmother? Just my parents together? Just my in laws together? He missed so many things. My mother told him at the house that she would move the couch in order to take pictures in front of the wide window that she had, and he only ever took pictures in front of the loveseat!!! Instead of capturing pictures outside in the limo (The guys have one, I DON’T) he left my mothers house (claimed he was going to the church) but went BACK to MY apartment where the GUYS were. All he did was take pictures of them watching a baseball game, do you think that’s what I want on my wedding day? The pictures at the church were nothing to brag about either and there was absolutely not one picture of the cocktail hour. I would like to know what he was doing while we were upstairs in the bridal suite for a half an hour before we saw him when he could have been taking pictures of the cocktail hour!!
Sorry, something needs to be done. We’ve incurred enough hassles and stress over this. We were truly overcharged for the horrible service that we received and I would like some kind of reimbursement for it, something that counts this time. I am truly heartbroken over the services “provided” and I feel my wedding day is forever lost because of your services.”

Head’s up. They may seem well-priced for a budget bride… but it is not worth the stress that you will feel afterwards. Stay away from them!
