http://tinyurl.com/ylyeepo can you check out my prospective invites? i think i might love them i wanted a whimsical kind of fancy feel. we are getting married in Cape May. I also think I like the coloring and might run with it and maybe add some purple to the mix.

    Are those your colors? I think you could easily replace the brown with an eggplant purple. I like the main font bc it embellishes the invite without having to use another graphic.  I'm not so crazy about the longness of it... Does that make sense? Maybe I'm feeling more traditional tonight and I feel like the envelope is a little oddly shaped. It's definitely less formal and more fun, which I like - but as FI insisted when we were looking at our invites, this is the impression your guests are getting about the wedding. They are going to take a cue from your invites on how they dress and how formal the event will be. I think they are really cute though and different!

    Have you thought about having them custom-made for you?  That way you could get exactly what you both want.

    They are nice, I too had no idea what I wanted so I am having them made. Easier for me you might want to look into it that as well.

    I'll give you my honest opinion - the font kinda reminds of me of insane asylum and I know that makes no sense probably but it makes me think the name of the font is 'asylum' or something along those lines I'm not fond of it, but its YOUR invite not mine - I know a great invite lady if you want a rec

    I don't hate it, but I don't love it.  These don't scream whimsical to me...they're more "funky" or something.
