No RSVPs

I wish people would write why they're not coming on the RSVP. I know it's not really any of my business but this one 'no' RSVP I'm taking kind of personally and I want to know why they aren't coming

I'd be nosy too. I'd send an email and say "we are so disappointed you can't join us. I hope all is well and we want to see you when we get back from the honeymoon" and hope they spill...I can't figure out a nice but more direct way to say it.

i was happier when people didn't write because when they did it always said they had a previous engagement and my first response was "LIAR!" which made me feel worse. lol

I had a few write why (I really appreciated it too) and I have a bunch that didn't put it. One couple, a friends parents, who her mom kept busting about inviting her picking at me nagging at me about it so I did, responded no, the first no I got. Why nag at me!Oh and today I got a bold face lie on a no response. I'm having a lot of fun with this!

The few that we cared about wrote a note and/or called. Almost everyone who declined gave some sort of reason.... I'm sure that they will reach out to you before the weddin to give you their reason.

We had a couple who claimed they didn't know and signed up for a marathon that day instead. Personally I would rather party than run for 4 hours straight but they totally got a STD so I know they knew the date. Ugh, motivated lying athletes! haha

I totally know what you mean. MH aunt was one of the first to RSVP and it was a no with no explination. MH was really hurt especailly that there was no note. Well the wedding comes and now she wants to go because she found out that all her siblings were going to be there. His grandma was to come with a guest well he decided not to come so she was going to come as his grandma's guest. His grandma told her that she is not allowed to come with her because now she wants to go because everyone else will be there and you feel stupid. Other then that most other people put a note in with a check as to why they were not able to make it.
