- What'd you do this weekend?

We had a very busy weekend! FI's birthday was on Friday, so I had a bunch of his friends surprise him at dinner at 18 Seaboard (yum!) and then we went out on Fayetteville Street. Saturday was my birthday! Yay! We spent the early part of the day relaxing and then I went and got a drink (being sweet tea) with my mom to get to hang out with her before Brandon and I went to dinner. I knew he and my mom both were acting weird, especially when we got in the car and Brandon told me to put a blind fold on. I refused, but did close my eyes. We ended up at Angus Barn, where we were supposed to be eating with my mom, her BF and my brother the next night. We got to our table and there were a bunch of my friends and family there, including FI's parents! It was a great birthday surprise and exactly how I wanted to spend my birthday. Sunday we relaxed more, hit up the Brooks Brothers semi-annual sale for FI and saw Cars 2. All in all, it was a perfect weekend!

- What's your favorite thing about Mondays?
Umm...definitely not going back to work. My favorite thing about this Monday is meeting FI for lunch (in 50 mintes..woo hoo!)

- Is there something that you always do on Mondays?
Normally some sort of Monday night TV, sometimes I'll get together with some girls to watch a show together, I also really need to add working out to that list too.

- What's for dinner tonight?

I have no idea! I'm hoping some kind of seafood is on special this week. I really need to go to the grocery store!!

- What'd you do this weekend? I took H to Charlotte this weekend for his birthday to the US Whitewater Center. That place is awesome.  They have a man made rafting course, zip linning, high ropes course, mtn biking, rocking climbing, etc.
- What's your favorite thing about Mondays? well I don't like many things about Mondays, so sadly it's probably watching The Bachelorette (it's a train wreck that I can't look away from)
- Is there something that you always do on Mondays? yes complain when my alarm goes off that I do not want to get up
- What's for dinner tonight? Chicken pesto paninis, 1st time we have made them so hopefully it's good

We had a busy weekend, FH and I finished putting my desk together for my new home office, we mowed and did yard work, I scrubbed 2 bathrooms, grilled out Saturday night (yum!) and then we got up at 4:30am on Sunday to drive across the Valley to play balloons at the Grove Park Inn... soooo pretty

Monday always feels like a clean slate, plus I feel rested and ready to conquer the world!

9am touchbase meeting with my boss, who works from home in Tampa... so nice.

My only goal for dinner tonight is to eat something that isn't a bowl of cereal... low expectations there

- What'd you do this weekend?
We cleaned a lot. I haven't done a full intense house cleaning in 5 weeks due to school. So I went cleaning crazy. We also rearranged the kitchen (like what goes in which cabinet) and cleaned out the pantry. We have like 30 things to put on Craigslist.

However yesterday started the process of us re-doing our laundry room (stacking washer and drying and cleaning). DH went to do a load and the drain hose on the washer apparently had a couple small holes in it and water was spraying all over the back wall. So we stopped the washer and pulled both the washer and dryer away from the wall. Low and behold, theres a HUGE hole in the dryer vent (would explain why it would always get really hot and humid when we used the dryer, plus why it would take forever to dry).  Today's goal is to actually get the machines stacked and everything back in the laundry room. We just have to wait for afriend to come help lift the washer onto a try and then the dryer onto the washer. . . Yay. lol

- What's your favorite thing about Mondays?
Brand new week

- Is there something that you always do on Mondays?
Sleep and whine about having to get up early. However now I have 6 weeks of getting to sleep in, if I choose to do so.

- What's for dinner tonight?
We've got chuck roast, potatoes and carrots in the crock pot. It smells mighty tasty right now.

- What'd you do this weekend? 

This week-weekend has been pretty crazy. I've been out of town for a week-long intensive classroom session for one of my summer classes. It was honestly one of the most stressful weeks ever, so by the end of it I was ready to just get my butt back home. Well, my car had other plans and decided to break down on me on the way home friday night. I finally got it fixed at a VERY sketchy place in goldsboro and made it home around 9. Saturday and Sunday I worked all day. Mondays and Tuesdays are actually the weekend for FI and I, he is a chef and gets Mon. and Tues. off, rather than the weekend. Lucky for me I have 3 papers and 2 finals to take by Wednesday, so no "weekend" really for me. Whew, busy end of June.

- What's your favorite thing about Mondays?

Usually it is the fact that FI and I have the day off together. It's nice to just lay back and relax on the beach. Hopefully we'll get that chance next "weekend".

- Is there something that you always do on Mondays?

Not really, we always try and cook up something good since it is one of the only times FI is actually home for a decent dinner. Most nights he never gets in until 9 or later.

- What's for dinner tonight?

Tonight we decided on Spaghetti with homemade meatballs

- What'd you do this weekend? Went to DC to visit friends and GTG with some SB knotties
- What's your favorite thing about Mondays? I'm usually more rested on Monday morning than any other day of the week.
- Is there something that you always do on Mondays? Cuss at my alarm clock.  Think of all the things I would do if I had another day at home.
- What's for dinner tonight? Chicken if H's best friend comes over, the guy only eats chicken.  Cube steak if he doesn't.

- Is there something that you always do on Mondays? In the spring and fall I usually have a lot of TV shows on certain days. But, we don't have internet/cable yet, so I can't watch The Bachelorette tn. 

- What's for dinner tonight? No clue, we need to go grocery shopping.
