Name change complete

So finally my name change is complete, I kept dragging my feet about going to DMV but i just got it out of the way.  There is only one little detail at work that I am trying to get sorted out (my email) but everything else is done.  It feels good and strange at the same time.

    Honestly I don't know why people make such a big deal about it. I got DMV and SS in under and hour. It took 10 min to call credit card companies and 10 min to change names with the bank. I was expecting much worse.That's great that you got it done!

    my work email is the only thing that is changed! and its fun confusing people when i email them...i plan on getting everything done friday...i still have to pick up the marriage certificate.....

    The banks gave me some problems even with my marriage license I got some run around there.  SS was really easy.  DMV the lady was trying to convince me to not change my name, and then stated I should hyphenate it.  I already have a hyphenated first name I dont need any more hyphens.  The credit cards were the easiest.  Work has actually been the worst.  There are three pages of steps and you cant complete the next until the step prior had been approved, thats why my email is still not set up.
