to with my dad. We're not close but i know if i don't dance with him i'm going to get crap from everyone in my family...blah blah "put your reasons aside on your wedding day" so i ask if anyone has any good songs that aren't so personal like "daddy's little girlish" I was thinking cat Stevens -wild world or daughters by john Mayer.anyone have other ideas?thanks

isnt she lovely by stevie wonder. That makes it more about his feelings towards you as opposed to having to make it about your dad.

I'm using Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder for that very reason. I don't have those "Daddy's little girl" feelings about my dad, so I want something that isn't sentimental about the relationship at all. This makes it all about me!

We did "In My Life" by the Beatles...perfect without being overly sentimental.

Isn't She Lovely was my dance with my Uncle, my late Dad's twin brother. It was beautiful and everybody loved it.
