Poll: Honeymoon: Right After or wait

We waited, we got married 10/17, we're going on HM on Nov. 28th.It wasn't a money issue, actually. We're going to Disney, which is much less crowded the week after thanksgiving than almost any other time of year. Also, it gives us a few days off of work to pack and relax before the trip.I think it has been nice, stress of wedding behind us, gifts mostly put away, things returned, etc, and then getting a fun trip right as we are starting to forget the thrill of being married. Cons: Everyone asks "Why didn't you go on a honeymoon?"Annoying. stop asking.

We were married on a Friday and left Sunday for our HM. IMO, that was the perfect amount of time for us. We were still giddy with excitement from the wedding, so it def. felt like a honeymoon for us rather than just a regular vacation. We were able to come home and do some last minute packing the day after our wedding, and actually had some of our family over for a impromptu BBQ that night. It also served as a much needed relaxation- we had just moved into our house 3 weeks before the wedding and were going crazy with that and the last minute wedding stress! I didn't see any cons
