NWR: Hibachi

My friend and I were just debating this.  I'm not a benihana fan, I like Arirang in Parlin/Sayreville. So for those who eat it, what is your favorite hibachi place?

Someone told me about Kyoto in Marlboro/Manalapan too.  It's byob, but i've never been.  I wasn't a fan of sawa in long branch, I felt so cramped in there.

Did Sawa, but the one in Eatontown is better IMO than Long Branch.

shiki is also good, but everything is a la carte which im not a fan of esp for hibatchi.

I've only been to Mt. Fuji on Rt. 17 in Hasbrouck Heights, and Ten East in Bayonne. Both are just O.K. ... Mt. Fuji's food used to be better (we went in October for my birthday) and it's pretty run-down inside. Ten East is really trendy and cool inside, but I thought the food was so-so and too pricey. I should bookmark this for the next time we get hibachi.

LOVE Arirang! Too bad I live an hour away from the Sayreville one which is like 5 minutes from my parents' house. Bonsai in Hamilton is the closest one to my house now. It's ok...

Further up north we have Ichiban (Hackensack) and Kiku (Paramus) that are my two favorites!

Mahzu. There is one on Rt 34 in Matawan and one on 537? in Freehold. Whatever the road is that runs next to the mall. Its bring your own and the sushi and hibachi is the best. I like it better than Arrirang.
