NWR: What's your favorite AC hotel?

With a new house we can't take a full vacation for our anniversary like we wanted, so I'm thinking maybe a night down in AC. I've only been once and that was years ago, and MH will sleep just about anywhere so I don't trust his opinion haha. Where do you like to stay? I'm leaning towards the Borgata.

    Borgata is great the showers are awesome, but I love Harrahs, the new tower is beauitful.

    I have only stayed at the Borgata. We loved it, felt like we were in Las Vegas. I have heard Cesars is nice

    We stayed at the Trop and it was fun. If you find a price cheaper online, you can call and they will honor it and knock another 5% off. They also have a holiday show in Dec.

    I've only ever stayed at the Borgata and Tropicana. Borgata was my favorite by far, but the Trop is also very nice and is a lot closer to the other hotels & casinos.

    I was just at the Trop on Friday night and I would no longer recommend it. The elevators are so crappy, we waited for literally 45 minutes to get down. I stayed at the Chelsea for my b-party and I also don't rec that. I'm really not that picky! However, my ILs always stay at the Borgota and love it. As an added bonus they have an awesome buffet there!

    we love the Chelsea, which is next door to the trop. Non-gaming hotel, but very very cool. and it's got a great weekend nightclub

    I have only stayed at the Borgata for out mini-moon but we loved it. I went on the suggestion of many knotties here

    I liked the Borgata too but I really like being able  just walk on the boardwalk and check out the other hotels and the mall easily. I'm a big fan of Trump Taj Mahal - everything is a walk away and their new towers are beautiful with great views.

    LOVE the Borgata! I won't stay anywhere else in AC. I have heard that Harrahs is not bad but haven't stayed there so can't confirm that. GO with the Borgata you won't be disappointed :)

    I like the Borgata, but feel it is way overrated.  My husband prefers the new tower of Harrah's to the Borgata.

    We stayed in the new tower at Harrahs this week and loved it. Our room was amazing! We woke up in the morning and went to the pool and felt like we were at a resort on an island, so nice! I would def rec. that or Borgata. I do NOT reccommend Resorts, bad experience there once.

    i don't think borgata rooms are much different than any of the other major casinos except for the bathroom and the ridiculous price tag.  we get comped at trump marina so we stay there.  we have also been upgraded to their suites and they are amazing!harrah's is also nice.

    ditto to what Erika said the Borgata is overrated and ridic expensive - we get comps at Trump Marina and although I don't particularly LOVE it there - the suites are great We went to the Trop for my b-party and I thought it was great - so long as you get one of the newer,renovated rooms we had an old yucky 1980's room but the hotel itself was GREAT...good food, great stores, very close to the beach/boardwlalk

    when al and i first started dating we wanted to stay at borgata but it was booked.  they rec that we check out la samanna in brigatine.  we stayed there and loved it!  we had a one bedroom which also had a seperate kitchen adn flat screens in the bedroom and living room.  they also run free shuttle service to borgata.  this might be a nice idea if you are going down for more than a few days since it had a kitchenette.  http://www.fantasearesorts.com/

    First decide if you want to be on the Marina or on the boardwalk.  Chelsea is nice if you can get a good price. I prefer Harrahs and trump marina but we rarely stay at hotels down there unless we get comped because FSIL has a house in Brigatine that we can usually crash at.
