no. I even joke with MH that I wouldn't want to get pg certain months bc I wouldn't want to double up on bdays with our kids. lolBut in reality, if it had worked out that way, then whatevs. But my bday is too cold and his too hot too so that wouldn't have worked anyway.

Never.  My bday is in the winter and we did not want a winter wedding.  However, I guess that fact is irrelevant b/c I wouldn't have chosen to get married on my bday even if it wasn't in the winter!  Ha ha.

no, because it is in february.  my birthday parties always had to have a snow date (several had to be re-scheduled) and i didn't want to deal with a possible snow storm on my wedding day.

Probably not... Reasons:1.  It usually does not rain on my birthday.  I think it has rained twice ever at wherever I've been on my birthday for that reason.  But it is can be really humid and hot in late July.2.  My mom and dad got married on the day before her early May birthday because it never rains on her birthday.  But now she always makes a big deal about how her anniversary and birthday and Mother's Day are all close to each other so they all get bunched together rather than celebrated properly.  I guess sort of how late December birthdays feel?  I can't rule out a menopausal me getting similarly neurotic (although I really don't care if anyone else besides my husband acknowledges my anniversary, honestly).

I'm getting married the day before mine.

Nope...my birthday is a month before x-mas and FI already combines the 2 (claims I get a bigger gift).  I want my anniversary to be it's own special day.

We actually considered inviting people to our Birthday party and not telling them it was a wedding, since they are close together.

No way! I will have my birthday, Christmas and anniversary all in December and I wish it was more spread out! I have nothing to look forward to for the rest of the year, lol. I (jokingly) say I am celebrating my bday in June from now on!

not really.  esp bc my bday is in oct and his is in sept. add thanksgiving, christmas, new years and it would have just been too much in the fall/winter.  I def new I wanted to do something in the spring to have something to celebrate during another part of the year...lol

No, my birthday is in July and DH's is in June. I sweat in below-freezing temperatures so there's no way I could have gotten married in the summer. Plus my birthday is right around 4th of July so travel for OOT guests may have gotten tricky (expensive hotel rates, airfare, traffic). Our anniversary is 3 days after my 1/2 birthday though, LOL. Also our birthdays are only 28 days apart, so this is something we can celebrate at the other end of the year. I honestly was not all that concerned with snow on the day of our wedding. My only precaution was booking an SUV limo as opposed to a regular one. I was right too, since it was 45 degrees that day.

we considered it and i quickly said no! :) we already share our birth date and year, so adding one more to the mix means less to celebrate lol

it wouldn't bother me but we weren't looking at june (mine) or december (his) weddings anyway. we actually were strongly considering a date in november last year that was FIL's birthday.  when we told him that was one of our choice for date his response was "well I won't be in town that weekend so I guess I just won't go to your wedding"  i was like wtf, grow up!!

I would. I already share my bday with thanksgiving day some years.

Now that I think about it my bday would be a pretty good time to get married. Depending on the year it's usually the weekend of labor day, it's still warm but not super hot. But we never even considered it. Actually uppereast I think you got married on my bday. Sept 1st?

Sure.We didn't consider either of our birthdays because we didn't want a summer wedding (FI's bday) and fall (my bday) was either too close or too far away. Plus my bday's in October and we didn't want to pay a peak price.

We are getting married a week before my FI's birthday.  My birthday is in December and couldn't take the chance of a snowstorm being we have a ton of out of town guests.

lol, I just realized that my statement was really contradictory (Sure we'd consider it, but we didn't want to consider those dates). I wouldn't avoid a wedding date/bday on the sole fact that it was one of our birthdays. We just didn't consider our bdays because we didn't want a hot summer wedding on his bday, and because my bday would be too expensive and because we'd have to plan in 7 months (too short for us) or 19 months (too long for us).

No, we actually chose August since my birthday is in Feb. and FI's birthday is in March.  So right now we have everything to celebrate between about Dec-Mar and we wanted something in the other part of the year.Seabass, my dad's birthday is Sept. 1st too!

My second choice date was 4 days before my bday, which is why it was second choice. I didn't care about the wedding being the week of my bday but didn't want my anniversary to be the same week.  As it is I am getting married 11 days before, which is closer than I wanted but it was the date that worked out best.

nope, i didn't want to get married when it is cold... plus i'm selfish in that i want my birthday to be all about me!

We originally chose August 15 which was 2 days before my dad's bday and I had a big issue with that at first because I don't want our wedding to be associated with that AT ALL. But I got over it. When we thought about May, I didn't really think about my bday, more about the time of year and I always pictured myself a May bride. My mom wasn't thrilled by the idea that it was the day before my bday, but I said at least I'll be in NJ for my bday this year right? ;)

I actually begged to have mine on my birthday; although, to be fair, my birthday is New Year's Eve and that's the date I reallly wanted our wedding - DH was completely 100% against it I wanted to do it that day because of NYE not really because of Bday though

nuh-uh. I'm a  huuuuge AW on my birthday. People know for weeks in advance. As it is, my wedding is just under 3 weeks before my birthday, and even that's a bit too close for comfort.
