I saw you got your dress at Bridals by Sandra.  Did you get your alterations done there too??  That is where I got my dress, and am planning on getting the alterations there as well.  I was just wondering what your experience with it was.

Holly - sorry for the delayed response. I did not get my alterations done there because in my opinion they were overpriced and I didn't like Sandra's at all in my shopping experience. I think they are old fashioned, over priced and the girls that work there don't know their A from a hole in the ground. That being said, I used a FABULOUS seamstress who does all of her work out of her house. she has been doing it for like 25 years and is very very reasonably priced. She did a lot of work to my dress as it was all lace and it didn't even look like she touched it. I will rec her to you if you want; otherwise, I really can't be helpful with alteration experience @ Sandra's. fwiw - for what my seamstress did for $200...Sandra's estimated $440
