Flowers?

I am starting to think about flowers! I am getting married next October and I am hoping to keep the flowers inexpensive. Can anyone give me any recommendations on flowers in season? I am thinking I want fall colored flowers....my girls will have dark brown dresses with a champagne sash. Does anyone know anything about mango calla lilies? I just saw pic online and though they were gorgeous!! are they pricey?Any florist recommendations in the warren/morris county areas? Thanks Girls!

Calla Lillies do make things a little more expensive. I had some in my bouquet. I used Precious Petals Too. They did a GREAT job.  But they are a little more expensive because of the way they do their bouquets. Helps make them last longer. Any florist should be able to work with your budget and colors. They will have good suggestions. I highly recommend my florist as my flowers looked beautiful.

I ordered gerbera daisy bouquets for my BMs and they came out to $30 apiece. You could do orange or red gerberas for a fall wedding. Roses would probably be fairly inexpensive. Here's a lovely fall bouquet: http://floret.ca/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/red_bridal_bouquet.jpgI love fall-colored callas but I think callas are on the more expensive side.

NP! If we were marrying in the fall I would've definitely done something like that.

I'm getting married next October and I'm using gerbera daisies and roses along with other flowers. I asked my florist to use flowers that are a certain color and that are in season. My florist is Connie Remier and she works out of West Orange. I thought her price was really great.

I got married in march and used Gerbera daisies. They were gorgeous. I agree the fall colors are beautiful, but I think the flower you want is on the expensive side. Definitely worth asking a florist thou, like pp said, the florist can work with your budget. I used Vesna's Blooming Boutique in bloomingdale. Info in Bio and pics in link below.

Connie Riemer created gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces for my wedding last year. Connie can work with any budget, is very creative and is a pleasure to work with. Plus she only does weddings. 973-445-0036 1123 Rte 23 South Wayne

Im no help on the flower front because I know almost nothing about them.  I do love calla lilies though and definately think they are worth the extra $ if they are more expensive. Im using Tyrrells in Westwood and think they are fantastic but I am biased because the owners wife is one of my BMs.

We got married last month and used Connie Riemer as well - she's AMAZING!  Loved our flowers - all of them.  We used mostly white and some blue flowers (calla lilies, roses, hydrangea and some orchids).  Connie will work with you on color and budget.  GL!

I love sunflowers for a fall wedding. Originally FI and I were considering a Thankgiving weekend wedding and I already dreamed of the bouquet i'd carry w/ sunflowers, orange dahlias and sunset roses. My best friend got married last month and carried white calla lillies while the bridesmaids carried purple calla lillies... they were beautiful but expensive.
