What did you pay for a DJ?

We went to see a DJ this weekend and I really liked them and my fiance said that he was suprised because they charge so much. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for your DJ and what did it include (plasma TV, light..etc..)  Also who is the name of your DJ, we are still trying to look. Thanks for your help.

Oh and my dj is Lifetime Entertainment based out of Union, NJ.  They have a few packages with different lighting.  But the MC will always come with the package regardless.Good luck with your dj hunt!

i'm paying 5k, but i'm getting about everything possible that they offer. my mc is the owner which is more expensive and he is also a percussianist.  getting slide montages (first dance, father/daugther dance, mother/son dance, after cake dance which is a montage of us, and family/friends over dinner). lighting, a bunch of large plasmas, ceremony footage which will be played before we are announced.

A little under $1K, and that's for a very basic package. Basically just someone playing music, and he *might* have a second person with him, I don't know. This is from Fantasy Productions.
