Hello saw you responses on the makeup trial/tipping discussion I know you did not tip Gina for the trial (and I didn't either)... but are we supposed to tip day of the wedding? I'm not really sure if we have to since she is considered freelance, and she's getting paid in cash (which means she may not declare most of the job anyway for taxes) let me know your thoughts?     I'm not sure either ... I'm so used to tipping for haircuts that I think I'd feel bad NOT tipping. But like you said, it's different because she's working for herself and not being sent by a larger company who will get a percentage of the profit. I mentioned to my BMs that I'm using her and gave them the info on her pricing and website. I also mentioned to one of them that she's independent and so she technically doesn't need to tip, but my BM said that she plans to tip anyway. I don't know. I may just wait and see. Maybe some MGs who used her can chime in on this one.
