21st birthday gift ideas?

My cousin's 21st birthday is coming up and I'm trying to think of some good gift ideas.  Because Christmas is right around the corner I'd rather go more along the lines of the "fun 21st birthday gift" route as opposed to the "well, she likes purses so I'll get her a nice bag" route since that's what I'll wind up doing for her Christmas gift.

Any ideas?

How much do you want to spend?  What is she like?

No more than $150 since we're tight on cash because of the wedding.  She's a girlie girl, but not over the top having to dress to the nines every minute of every day.  She likes alcohol, but because she's in college still she hasn't developed a taste for good wine and things like that... she's still in the playing beer pong and funneling stage, haha.

Edit: She did mention that she really wants cash (not a gift card), which I'd be fine with but I hate just giving cash... so I'd want to think of a more creative way to give it to her.

how about a set of martini glasses and stuff to make cosmos along with a card with some cash.  I got that when I turned 21 and I love the martini glasses!

That's what I was thinking, but since she's stil in the get-drunk-to-get-wasted phase of her life, I think it'd be a waste of money.  She's in the cheap alcohol stage still, haha.

Could you get her a gift certificate to her favorite bar or a nicer restaurant in her college town?  (Maybe just as part of the gift if they're reasonable college town places?)

She may like a set of wine glasses or beer glasses or something like that if she's a girly girl.  When I was 21 I lived in an off-campus apartment and while our lifestyle was definitely more $.25 beer night and funneling than drinking nice wine, we liked having somewhat nice stuff for when we were pretending to have adult dinner parties.

You could do a set of beer mugs with some money rolled up into one of the mugs for a night of drinking...

How about a nice ID case or wrislet that she can bring to bars or clubs, and tuck some cash inside?

I like the idea of a wristlet or a gift certificate to a really nice place to go for drinks.  When i was in college we would go to a martini bar in town and feel like hot sh!t for the night.  It was great.

A shot dispenser!  I got one for my 21st birthday and still use it, but now I use it to make people drinks instead of spinning it to see what alcohol it lands on.

I agree with a few people on here:
- The cute clutch idea with money stashed in it is always a way to go.
-Also like the shot dispenser... great way to pre-game before going out.

I didn't click on the link but you can probably do both, if you really wanted for about $150.

I think a cute wristlet or id holder with some cash would be nice.  I got a shot dispenser from a friend for my 21st but my roommates and I weren't classy enough to keep bottles in it.
