Seating Problem..PLEASE HELP!

Let me give you a little background before I ask my question. My fiance's parents have been divorced for some time now but his mom still can't stand being around his girlfriend and her kids. Or wants her own kids to have much to do with any of them.

So my problem is that I don't know where to seat the girlfriends kids (16 and 21 who is also bringing his girlfriend) at the wedding. My future father in law wants to have an adult table with his friends so I have to find somewhere else to seat them. Where do I put them? They aren't going to know anyone else and all the other friend tables are full. Is it okay to put them with some of FIL older family?

Please help. Thank you! 59 days to go!

I think its fine to put them anywhere that works best for you.
You can only take so much input from other people over things like seating... it can become overwhelming very quickly.
People will most likely be up out of their seats all night anyway, so try not to stress over it too much!

I think the location you are suggesting is fine. Like Heather said above, most likely people will be out of their seats mingling and dancing. So it may not really matter in the long run. GL!

Thanks ladies. It's just been stressful trying to please everyone so that they are happy. You're right though. Everyone will be up dancing and mingling so it really won't matter except for eating.

I would agree! Seating is hard enough to figure out with everyone else giving requests. I would definitly do what is easiest for you, maybe have the kids sit in a table next to where their parents will be so at least they are close. Or if there is a cousin table? or somewhere that might have other "younger" people at the table.
