HI Ladies..
I was recently thinking about doing a movie night monthly. LIke a 3rd Thursday sort of thing. There will be 1 movie (wedding related) per month and we can take turns gathering at knottie's homes. This may sound scary/weird - but I wouldn't have a problem inviting some of you NJ Regulars to my house.
I can host the first couple - and then we can rotate. This is separate from the Central NJ g2g that is being planned.
I'm not asking if you are going to come on a certain date but I'm asking if you would be interested or do you think this is weird.
You can attend and never host... you don't need to have a big place. I have a townhouse.
This is similar to WWW - Women who Wine. which is a group that started in Las Vegas and now has local chapter around the US. NJ doesn't have a group yet -but I've been to a few Boston gatherings. Anyway it works similarly- they meet monthly at different member's homes. Each person brings either a bottle of wine or an app/dessert and thus the host doesn't have to worry about providing sustenance.
What are your thoughts?
