It seems like there are some new 'faces' around here, so welcome to all of you!! 

Almost TGIF, ladies!  This week has seemed to drag...am SO ready for the weekend!  Thinking of doing some Christmas shopping over lunch today.  Anyone doing anything fun today??  Anyone have their shopping done (if so, I am in awe!)??

There are a lot of new people, I've noticed that one, but think its great Maybe the boards will bounce back to being active again. This new layout has REALLY slowed things down.

I am looking forward to the weekend too!!  I have not even had time to focus on Christmas presents yet with all of the wedding planning!  We have already expressed to our families that we are going a little lighter on Christas gifts this year due to the wedding costs, so I actually don't have that much to do!

We have our work Christmas party this weekend.  Does anyone else have fun plans?

Lauren, i am soooo happy to hear that i am not the only one who hasn't done any christmas shopping yet. FI and i have opted out of buying for each other since we just bought a hosue and have family to buy for. Thank GOD my family just draws names. I think it is a little rediculous that his family is all grown adults and still expects everyone to buy for each person.

I am a little disappointed that today is only Thurs. since I kept thinking it was Thurs yesterday and today was going to be Fri. UGH

We have a friend's Christmas party on Friday night and then DH and I are doing our annual Christmas celebration on Saturday night.  While we were dating, we rarely got to spend Christmas together since DHs family is all in the midwest.  So we started a tradition of getting dressed up and going out to a nice dinner, exchanging gifts beforehand as our 'Christmas' together.  DH always enjoys coming up with a new place and likes it to be a surprise.  So even though we are now married, we decided to continue this tradition.  Just nice to have our own, private celebration before all the craziness begins with our respective families. 

After all of the wedding craziness, I'm finally starting to get into the Christmas spirit!

Morning!  We have our Christmas potluck at work today, so that should be and overindulgent good time.  Although, I have some not so fun work to handle before then.  

I have not bought a single Christmas present yet either!  Maybe I'll start this weekend.  

Tarheels, your Christmas tradition sounds fun!  I'm sure it's nice to enjoy some quiet time before the crazy season!  We're starting our Christmas celebrations this weekend by going to the Angus Barn with both of our families (our wedding present to our parents), but first, we're going to see Daniel Tosh on Friday!

Today is a busy Thursday for me! I've already had 2 exams (both in the same exam period...whew) and I have one more at 2:30. Luckily I can bring my study guide along for that one because my brain isn't working so well considering my lack of sleep. I'm meeting with Lynn from Fresh Affairs tonight and Greg from Brides and Bouquets tomorrow.

I'm ALMOST finished Christmas shopping...but I have a LOT of gift wrapping to do. I'm making a few gifts that I need to finish up (hand painted ornaments and shot glasses for the roomies and a few friends).

Tomorrow I'm having a reunion with my study abroad mates from summer '08 so I'm really excited about that.

Saturday FI and I are going to VA to visit his extended family for Christmas.

Good morning!! My allergies are killing me this morning. I can't go anywhere without sneezing and eyes constantly watering...gross.  No fun plans this weekend, but last weekend was crazy so I'm kinda glad.

Tarheels, that sounds like a perfect tradition! How sweet to do that before the craziness.

The hubs and I are going to his family's this weekend for an early Christmas.  Wish us luck with the drive down to Georgia!

Plus, tonight we get to stop in Athens, our old college town, to hang out with one of my besties and see some other friends tomorrow ))

Good afternoon ladies! I got to have breakfast with a college friend and her baby this morning. I'm waiting to meet with our videographer that we lucked out on finding this afternoon, and then I'm heading to Elizabeth City to spend a week with FI and our new house.
