Fayettville area...OOT MOH needs suggestions!

Hi ladies!

I'm the MOH for my best friend's wedding and would like to start putting together ideas for her bachelorette party!

Any suggestions of fun bars/clubs in the area would be greatly appreciated :) Where are good places to go to dance? Or maybe listen to live music? How about karaoke?

She lives in Moore County, so any suggestions between there and Fayettville would be wonderful!

Also, we obviously do not want to drink and drive...does anyone have any recommendations for a car service? We don't need anything fancy like a stretch hummer or anything-- just something that can hold between 6-10 ladies and get us to and from safely!

TIA for any ideas you can give me!

I'll be honest - Fayetteville is not hopping with nightlife! They are opening a new club called Kryptonite as soon as they get a liquor license and there is a sports bar - Itz - which is pretty popular. Downtown is Huske Hardware which is a restaurant and brewery by day and a hangout on weekend nights. I think they do some live music there occasionally.

If you do a quick search for "limos" in Fayetteville, NC you'll find a few companies for which you can compare prices. I'm sure you'll find something reasonable.

Hope that helps a little. Sorry I don't have better tips!

Thank you for the recs...I've been getting frustrated b/c most bars do not have websites. I've only been able to go on reviews, but most are from 2007 or earlier Undecided It's hard to try and figure this out from Ohio!

What do you think about the Cadallic Ranch? From what I've found, it's the only country bar in the area...but the reviews I've found have been mixed. I even found a review from a solider on leave (who says he was not drinking) was beaten by the bouncers! I don't know how truthful that is (I would HOPE someone wouldn't make that up!) but it freaked me out nonetheless.

I grew up in Fayetteville, and I feel it's my duty to be honest with you...reconsider the location.  Fayetteville doesn't have the classiest bars or clubs, and that's putting it nicely.  What about Raleigh?  Would that be too far away for your bachelorette?  If you're looking for a county bar then Raleigh has City Limits Saloon and Long Branch.

I second Jaite - I've been to Cadillac Ranch and, while it's not a horrible bar, it's in a sketchy part of town and when I was there had a strip club in the back. That's been several years ago though, so it might be different now. Some friends from home go there pretty often for the line dancing which is fun. I would consider Raleigh if that's within your driving range. City Limits is a fun place and there are a lot more options in general.

Thank you ladies. Raleigh may be too far, but I'll talk to the bride!  I may have to post again with a new city once we figure it out!

    Thanks again :)
