reception venue

I currently have a ceremony place booked for a Friday night at 5pm.  I'm looking for a good venue for the reception in the  Union County area.  Any suggestions?  We are looking to have approx 150 guests.

    Not in Union County, but very close, The Primavera Regency in Stirling.

    Do you have an idea of how much you want to spend?

    We visited Costa Del Sol in Union and we liked that a lot. We also visited Galloping Hill Inn in Union, and Berkeley Plaza in Berkeley Heights, but I would not recommend those venues.

    Other places that come to mind (I have no idea how nice/bad they are): Gran Centurions in Clark, The Westwood in Garwood, L'affaire in Mountainside, Pantagi's in Scotch Plains, Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge.

    For a more affordable option I'd recommend the Galloping Hill- seemed like you get a great bang for your buck there.

    Some that I have looked at were Grand Summit, Berkeley Plaza and Woodbridge Hilton.  I actually just looked up the site for Primavera and it looks pretty nice... just sent them my contact info.  :)  I'm not really crazy about Galloping Inn, Westwood or Gran Centurions.

    The Primavera is not to far from Cranford and they give you a lot for the money.  Good Luck!

    FI and I live in Union County and we personally didn't like any of the places here. We went to all the ones mentioned and the one we did consider was Solar Do Minho in Roselle Park, but the room was way to big for the amoutn of people we are haveing (150).  We have been to weddings in Costa's and didn't have that great of an experiance and I just had my dad's 50th Birthday there and I wasn't trilled with the service.  We are having our Reception at Ravello's in East Hanover. We love it. Good Luck!
