So.. I'm about to order the invites, and my mom calls me all in a panic worried that if people just see 'Reception to follow' on the invite that they will think the cocktail hour is dinner and leave before the actual dinner starts. My ceremony and reception are in the same place, so I was just going to put 'Reception to follow' on the bottom of our invites and not do a separate reception card. Is that what most of you do in this situation? I guess another option is to put 'Cocktails, Dinner and dancing to follow'. It just never occurred to me people would think cocktails were the entire reception (and now my mom has made me worried probably for no reason).
Thoughts? Is she worrying for no reason? I mean, there's no cake in the cocktail room, and are the table cards in the cocktail room meaning that there's another room for the guests to go to?
