The Bethwood

I am invited to a wedding at the Bethwood in May.  Has anyone ever checked it out?  How is the food?  I have never heard any reviews on this venue before.

I've been to a bridal show there not my cup of tea but it's pretty from the outside. I think it's a bit of an odd layout on the inside. Still pretty though.

It's not particularly popular here ... ;-)

They have a million rooms and a lot of events going on at once. *However*, I've been to brunch events there (showers, etc.), and enjoyed it.

I got married at the bethwood! And am proud to say it! They catered to everything me and hubby wanted...the food we chose was great and everyone enjoyed themselves..

just b/c they have lots of rooms doesnt mean a wedding or party is going on in every room -

On my saturday night wedding in August, i was the only evening wedding...everything was great...

I looked into this place when we first were researching. At first we really like the Brownstone. After meeting with them 3 times I fell out of love each time with them. When we went for a tour the second time there was food all over the floor from a party they said was the night before. The one room that could accommodate us didn't even have a wood or marble floor. It was made out of linoleum. That was a HUGE turn off. 

The decor is outdated and gautie (sp?). The only positive I have is that the outdoor grounds are very pretty. We didn't go for a tasting but have heard good things about the food. I also like their indoor set up incase it rained for the outdoor ceremony.

I went for a Christmas party there two years ago and  I wasn't too fond of the place. The food was disgusting and cold when they served it. The drinks were watered down. And the decor was outdated in my opinion. Overall, just NMS.

IMO the food is not good. That's usually the biggest Bethwood complaint.
