order of wedding party and programs

Hi everyone,
I'm working on the wedding program and was wondering if you listed your bridesmaids in the same order in which they walked down the aisle.  Should your program match the order in which the girls/guys walk in or stand at the altar?  Am I overthinking this?

    I don't think you are over~thinking it....

    Haven't completed my program yet, but I think it is a nice idea to include the BMs in their walkdown order... that way people can identify them during the processional!

    We didn't.  We put the maid of honor and best man first on the programs, and then listed the others alphabetically.  Our programs were done like a month before the wedding.

    They walked in roughly in height order (with the exception of maid of honor, who walked in right before me), which was figured out at the rehearsal.

    ok cool...I think I'm going to have them all walk in height order, but I won't know their height until the rehearsal.  Thanks!!!  You have made me worry much less.

    we put them in the order they were walking down in.  We decided the order in advance to the rehearsal
