If it were you and you were on a budget, need to make a top 10 list. The list is of venues.( my budget is 100pp including tan and tip willing to do Sunday also off season) Please list 1 to 10. One being your fav 10 being your least. You can do top 5 to if 10 is to much help me out girls please.

    The ONLY venue FI and I really loved was The Manor in West Orange.  No top ten or top five lists for me, because we just didn't like the others that we saw at all.

    Note: We're getting married on a Sunday in July with your budget.

    Anywhere with in 30 to 45 min drive from Hackensack

    Try the following places in the West Orange area:
    The Manor
    Ravello's Mayfair Farms
    The Atrium

    The Tides
    Empire Club
    Bridgewater Manor
    Imperia: may be in your budget for a Sunday
    South: Channel Club
    These places are within that range and tend to get good reviews

    The Tides (North Haledon)
    Bridgewater Manor (Bridgewater)
    Costa del Sol (Union)
    The Empire Club (Little Ferry)

    Didn't visit but I heard they're reasonably priced:

    The Restaurant (Hackensack)

    The Hilton in Hasbrouck Heights (through e-mail, I negotiated them to $90pp, all-inclusive, for a Saturday night in March 2010)

    Seabra's Armory (Perth Amboy)

    The Manor, The Atrium, Mayfair Farms (all in West Orange ... I've been to The Manor and MF for non-wedding events before and they were all very nice)

    If you would be willing to go to Matawan, St. Clement's Reception Center has gotten good reviews and is good for a couple on a budget.

    I don't have a top 10 either. But I'm with Peaches...The Manor in West Orange!!!!!

    The Manor is fine if you're having a small/medium sized wedding -  I'm having 200+ and the Manor was an absolute NO - although it is very pretty

    If you're on a budget of 100pp and want to be near Hackensack - I got The Bethwood in Totowa for 99pp (that's with  the vienesse table and additional dinner options) and you get the seat covers and a free night at the holiday inn across the street.

    Not a problem. I've been dealing with Dominic - such a sweetheart!

    Any additional items (like sushi bar or we're doing a roasted pig) has a set price, not a per person price which I liked too.
