DJ and Photographer check!

Hi all! I have 2 more checks off my list! I'm happy that I found the NNJ board because you girls have been so helpful. I book Jason Rhee as my photographer and Colorblind Productions as my DJ,I couldn't be happier! I met with 3 photographers that were in my budget, but Jason was the only one that we felt most comfortable with, he is so professional and we got a great vibe from him. Colorblind Productions (Rob) is a pain to get a hold of, his communication is horrible, but I needed a DJ that knows Spanish and Portuguese music very well, and he does. If you are going to look into booking him all I suggest is to Text or call him on his cell, besides that you will get no responds for weeks. With all that said I'm really happy to have checks these vendors off, now off to do research and check off some more!

    Great job JandP51212. I have to look into a photographer myself and will start with Jason Rhee since he has such great recommendations from here. Hopefully my date is open. Tongue out

    Congrats!!  I'm using Colorblind too and yes, they can be a total pain to get in touch with at times but Rob and Dianne have been phenomenal in every other way and we can't wait to use them for our wedding!

    I'm not familiar with Colorblind, but it sounds like you have them under control.  We didn't go with Jason, but I don't think you can go wrong with him.  Congratulations on getting two big items off the list.

    Congrats on your checks... I was intrested in Colorblind but because they are impossible to get ahold of I decided against it.

    I hear you on that! :-)  Whenever I get really annoyed and contemplate finding a new DJ I go onto weddingwire.com and those other wedding vendor review sites and read the reviews people have left for them.  The majority have the same complaints that we do, but they almost always say that Rob and Dianne came through on the day of.  That's one of the few things keeping me sane about the poor communication, haha.
