So bored & dying to go home!!!!!

Dreading my commute home though (I have to take Parkway South about 10 exits...) Think it will be bad at 2pm? Maybe I will take 1 & 9 or backroads to 27... (I go from Elizabeth to North Brunswick.)

Ugh, just want my 3 day weekend to start NOW!!!

Seriously! I have to take 287 home and I'm dredding it. I'm praying we get out early.

UGH 287 north has been a disaster 2 days this week for me.  I have 2 hours till I go home.  I have to drive up to Albany tonight and I am hoping its not a mess.

I'm at work too... but definitely going to leave early! I don't think the commute should be so bad at 2pm...

I'm working as well They are letting us go at 2pm. I know I'm doomed, taking 287, then turnpike south to drop off our dog at my dads, then hopefully taking the back way 206 to rt 30 to AC.

Working today as well! Not looking forward to heading out doing deliveries....hopefully the roads won't be too bad!

I'm here. Booo. Hopefully I'll get out early- usually my boss lets me go even thought "technically" I should be here until 5:30. It sucks b/c everyone else on the floor is leaving at 1pm (different departments).

The past 2 years haven't been terrible with the commute home on Memorial Day weekend. Really, it takes maybe 15-30 minutes more, and that's leaving at 3ish. It just seems so much longer!

your not the only one. I don't even think i have off on MONDAY! ugh i doubt i'll get out early today either. I'll be leave from SI taking SI expressway and fridays it's not great at all but now double that because its a holiday!

I LOATHE the SI expressway!!! I was living in Long Island for a while with FI and i always dreading driving through SI, especially on friday and sunday nights in the summer!

I'm working today too, but my boss isnt here so I may sneak out a little early. GL on the Parkway! I think its gonna be crappy all day from now until monday night. Though I don't know that 1&9 will be much better. Hope it doesnt take too long!

I have work today - which is good, because that means my temp agency came through - but... I'm up at exit 171 on the Parkway and I live in Newark. Is the commute going to be that bad??

Traffic south bound to the shore usually starts around 145, by route 280, and gets worth the further south you go. Dreading it.

I'm at work.  Getting out at 2:30.  Every day this week has felt like Friday to me!  And now it finally is, thank God!

You all are lucky.... I start work at 2pm today until 9pm and then have to drive all the way up to CT tonight otherwise we will never make the wedding tmw am.

Im' at work. BOREDDDD. We are NOT getting out early... but I only drive 5 miles. I wish there was a beach close to me! I'll have to settle for a pool. Maybe we'll buy a grille this weekend.
