I need a florist...

I am just beginning my search for a florist and have no idea where to begin! Any suggestions on good, affordable florists in Northern Jersey? Any tips on what questions I should be asking the florist?

I went to Metropolitan Wholesale in Saddle Brook and spoke with Yumi.. she was excellent and works within your budget. If you go anywhere make sure they include the tax, delivery, and set up charges. I got  A LOT for the price I gave to Yumi.

She isn't north jersey, more central jersey, Jacqueline's florist in South Amboy.  She does beautiful work and is reasonable.  She is great to work with a budget because she will suggest flowers that are less expensive but still the look you want.  Good luck with your search!

I second Metropolitan Plant & Flower Exchange in Saddle Brook. I used Yumila and she worked in the budget I gave her and made us really beautiful bouquets :) Check out my profile, I have a few pics of my flowers - even my photographer commented on what a beautiful job they did on the girls flowers!

I did a consultation with Yumi at Metropolitian and she was great like the others brides said and you get to see full mock ups before you contract.

    She was great butt........

I found that Anna Rose in North Haledon was even better and the prce was about a $1000 less. Jamoe at Anna Rose did mock ups of the centerpieces which were great and if you want someone with a little more artistic vision I would visit Anna Rose

AW doesn't have a website.  He's a small store front in Kearny.  All of his business is word of mouth which I thought was pretty fantastic.  He was referred to us by a friend of my parents'.  He was so helpful.  We are even having him to do our engagement party centerpieces because we LOVE his work!  Good luck :)
