    I love Portobello's. I go there often for lunch, had dinner there a few times, and been to a couple events there. Food is always great....no complaints on service either.

    L ove their food. I use to work in Oakland, and I would often go there for lunch.

    Love it too.  I haven't been since they added on their new additions a couple of years ago but their food is excellent.

    the new addition is great... food is as wonderful as it always has been...... would def recommend it for any event.....

    I go there often but I find the service & food is really hit or miss so I honestly wouldn't recommend it for a shower or rehearsal dinner.  I was there last week for lunch (terrible fish and really bad service outside), yet dinner a few weeks ago was ok. Other places I would suggest over Portobello are LuNello or Varka--same price range but the food is always amazing & the service is always great at both places. Only drawback is that neither restaurant looks as nice as the new Portobello building.
