Brunch Reception-Menu

I am still trying to figure out what type of menu to have for my brunch reception.  We originally were getting married at 9 but now we are having the ceremony at 10 and we are thinking people will arrive to the reception by 11.  Can I still have breakfast?  I would really like to have a waffle station, grits bacon, eggs that type of thing but Im just worried about the time frame...any suggestions?

I think 11:00 is a great timing for Brunch food. I would do what you suggested above with the waffle station, grits, bacon, eggs, but then also have some more lunch type foods. Maybe some smoked salmon or something like that? Or shrimp with the grits? I love breakfast foods!

I agree. I think bruch would be just fine at 11 am.  I think all of it sounds yummy! Maybe have a juice bar with different juices and tea?

Yum!! Brunch is my favorite meal of the day! Maybe you could include a few lunch type stations too, just to get the -unch in there too!

We did brunch!  It's my favorite.  We did quiches, shrimp & grits, fruits, biscuits, country ham, all sorts of stuff.  So, obviously, I think it's a great idea.

This is making my cheerios and banana breakfast seem really inadequate :(

On the upper hand though, that sounds like an awesome idea! :)

Brunch sounds fabulous!!  We thought about doing it, but decided against it because of possible challenges for our out of town guests getting into town that day.

I do agree with the lunch food suggestions above.  Quiche is a super suggestion--it goes both ways.  So do crepes, although they are a bit more challenging to maintain.  And, how can you go wrong with fried chicken, which would go beautifully with biscuits--an essential part of brunch, IMHO.  Good luck!!
