Just a suggestion... I'm a violinist and for my ceremony I really wanted string music...but not your typical wedding ceremony music (ie. Wedding March, Ave Maria, Pachelbel's Canon, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring). My fiance is not into classical at all...in fact, he likes hard rock and heavy metal. I was trying to find an OK comprimise and I came across something perfect... The Vitamin String Quartet. They are this fantastic string ensemble that do covers of famous songs from almost every genre. They have covered songs from Jeff Buckley to Death Cab for Cutie to the Rolling Stones to Elton John. They are fabulous! I'll be using their version of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" in my ceremony. They don't have sheet music available as of yet (so those of you who want live musicians for your ceremony...you might have to pay them extra to listen to and write out the arrangement themselves), but if you are OK with recorded music, this is a fantastic option! They have a TON of choices available, and even have a CD of wedding-appropriate music. THey are on iTunes too. Hope this helps some people!
