Where can I sell my dress?? Oleg Cassini BNWT

I know chances are slim for selling a wedding dress, but I have an Oleg Cassini wedding gown (Style #CWG365). It is size 4p in ivory. I purchased the gown for $950+tax and am asking $500 cash or best offer. The dress has never been worn or altered and still has all the tags attached. I absolutely love the dress, but we have decided to have a small ceremony with a Justice of the Peace, and I no longer will need the gown.

Does anyone have any other recommendations on where to sell dresses (websites, consignment shops, etc.)???  So much appreciation for any ideas!

Try the Trash To Treasure board if you're alright with a shipping option. Otherwise maybe craigslist?

Theres another website like preownedweddingdresses.com or something (I dont know if that's the actual site though)

    Good luck!

Once Wed is a site I checked a lot when I was looking for dresses, also PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com - you can post it on either.  Also, a friend of mine recently found her dress on craigslist.  Best of luck!

Not sure of your location but there is a shop in Cary called Gorgeous Gowns & wedding dresses that sells consignment gowns. Another option if you don't want to put an ad online.

I would think you'd have a better chance of getting the most for your dress if you consign it at Gorgeous Gowns in Cary. Never been there myself but I would think that women would be more comfortable buying a "used" (even if it wasn't) dress if they could try it on and if it was being sold be a reputable shop.

I'm sure they'll charge you a fee to sell it but it may sell quicker and for a higher price than if you tried to sell it online.

I forgot about this place. I went there when I was looking. The dresses varied a lot, but it sounded like they moved relatively quickly. There will be a portion of the buying price that'll go to the shop, but I think it's pretty small in comparison to the overall cost.

Plus, at that place, there are dresses in all price ranges so there are a lot of different people looking there. They're also allowed to try on the dresses (which to me, would have been extremely important).

    Good luck!
