NWR: First Chilean miner just got out!

The news stations are covering it if anyone feels like watching.  So far everything is going well and the one who was just rescued looked great (all things considered).

Edit: My fiance just told me that he heard on one of the Spanish news channels today that there are 33 miners underground and at least 36 wives/girlfriends waiting up top... uh oh...

    Just watched it on tv too.  Its reported that 39 countries have sent reporters to cover it.  Its amazing how the WHOLE world is watching.  Great day (night) for Chile and great day for the world.  Smile

    I was so happy to hear that they are bringing the miners back up - and ahead of schedule!

    Interesting that there are more wives/girlfriends than miners...uh oh!

    I heard that 1 of the miners has been having an affair for 10 years now. And that both wife & girlfriend have been there supporting. They found out b/c they were both holding signs with the miners name.

    And btw, The View just said the 16th miner has been rescued....So wonderful for them all! I can't even imagine!

    Yeah I heard #22 is the miner who has a wife and a mistress waiting for him to come out.  The wife said she was going to wait til he came up then she was going to leave him.  So the question is..do you go to the wife or the mistree first?

    I wonder if #22 even knows that there is drama brewing for him when he gets to the surface. If he was smart, he'd go to the wife first...
