MOB Dress - Help!

Hi Ladies -

Need your help here ... my mother lives in PA and I live in NJ ... we work different schedules - she works a lot of weekends and I work normal corporate hours ... my wedding is in April and I need to find her a dress!!

Anyone have any suggestions where I can look for a MOB dress that's not going to cost an arm and a leg??  BTW my mother is also on the shorter slightly heavier side ... so it has not been easy thus far sending her to Macy's or department stores - she gets upset when looking through dresses that are all made for "skinny, tall, model types".

Any suggestions - recommendations??

my mom had a hard time finding something.. we found the most amazing dress at diane and co in freehold a little more expensive then macys but just about the same..

Macys Bridal in Menlo Park or Russells in Linden.

My mom got her dress at Macy's Bridal at Menlo Park.

Did you try Bridal's by Sandra? Its in Nazareth PA. I got my dress there and my mom got her's as well. You have time to order it so you dont have to go off the rack.

My mom got hers at Hollywood Bridal in Kenilworth. She ordered hers very late -- and they made it happen. They were very flexible and had a nice selection.

My aunt is on the heavier side and she found quite a few dresses that looked great on her at the department stores in the Willowbrook Mall... the stores we went into all had a pretty decent selection of nice dresses in larger sizes.  She wound up buying her dress at Lord & Taylor, and my mom (who's also on the slightly heavier side) will probably check out those stores first as she doesn't want a typical taffeta MOB dress.
