Day Of Coordinator

We are having my September wedding ceremony at my family's farm and the reception elsewhere. I am looking for a coordinator just for the day to make sure things run smoothly. We've started by asking some friends but I figured I would throw it out there to see if any one knew of wedding planners who do this? Also, do you know the price estimate?

She was very inexpensive, I don't remember exactly but I want to say like $300 or something around there.  I am a super organized person, so I wanted someone else that day to do everything & worry about the problems.  Luckily we only had one thing for her to deal with - a surprise guest which I was so hoping would come, but didn't hear from them.  She made sure to make a place card & got the reception hall to add a seat & place setting at the table.
When I look back I really did not need her, but it calmed my nerves & made my husband happy since I was driving him nuts worrying... GL

I would not ask friends. Friends should get to be guests and enjoy the day. Not be responsible for your wedding day running smoothly. If something goes wrong and they missed it, it could really be something that messes up your friemdship.

They never turn down a customer.....very very professional and they understand that the bride cannot and should not pay thousands of dollars on wedding planning / coordinating.

I am also using Laura of Every Last Detail....PP was right, she is very affordable compared to other DOCs I spoke with.....not sure if you already took care of this, but it is worth contacting her. Her web site is www.eldplanning.com ...she has been a huge help to me so far in my planning!

We had our Engagement Party in August and she made it perfect exactly what I envision. She is also helping my sis with my shower and is coordinating our wedding if you need some one you should check her out. Best vendor so far.
