Park Ave bridal- alterations?

My mom is going to buy a MOB dress here- how is there alteration department? Do they do a good job or should we take it elsewhere? Thanks!

I had a bad experience there like 7 years ago with a bridesmaids dress, and since then I've heard nothing but bad things about that place.  I would recommend going somewhere else.

My best friend got our BM dresses from here.  I am mixed about the alterations.  One girl they, what seemed to be, intentionally ordered a larger size dress so she would have to get alterations.  She could have gone with a smaller dress and avoided the alterations all together.  Mine didn't need alterations.  We all decided to go with cups, since the back was low.  I was not expecting them to take, what appeared to be, the padding from the inside of a push up bra, use 2 stitches and sew it to the outside of the fabric, of course on the inside of the dress.  Although it worked, it was still a little weird.  Overall the alterations were great on all of us, I would just watch what size they order.
